Bridge United 1 Moneypoint 1 

Outstanding performance in Sixmilebridge this evening where our u14A boys faced top of the table Bridge United. Our boys started well and created some decent half chances but Bridge started to take control and they went in at the break 1 up. Our goalkeeper John Carey kept us in the game with countless top drawer saves. 

The second half saw us wrestle control of midfield from Bridge and we equalised through a lovely strike from Olaf Konieczko just inside the box. His goal was thoroughly deserved after a tireless performance. We were the better team for the remainder of the game and probably edged it over the full 70 minutes but a draw was arguably the fairest result. Special shout outs to John Carey, Olaf and Jamie McInerney who played out of their skins for us tonight
