Our u13 boys took on Burren Utd at home tonight, Burren got off to a flying start this evening, netting two goals in the first eight minutes of the game. 
Just seven minutes later, Callum Cook beat the offside trap brilliantly to get in behind the defence and calmly slotted the ball across the keeper into the back of the net.

Burren quickly responded with another two goals in quick succession, stretching their lead to 1–4. But right on the stroke of half time, the ball fell to Dylan Coleman on the edge of the box and he let fly with a superb strike to keep the game alive.

We came out in the second half determined and went all-out in attack, creating numerous chances but just couldn’t find the net. That was until the 53rd minute, when Cillian Cotter stepped up and produced another moment of magic with a stunning free kick.

As the clock ticked down, Mason Malone found the back of the net in the final minute of normal time to level the score at 4–4. A draw was a fair result in what was a thrilling and highly entertaining game. 

A special mention to Dan, our goalie, who stepped up tonight and pulled off some fantastic saves to keep us in the game. Every boy played their hearts out and played as a team – Well done to both teams!
