Great win for our boys tonight!

Moneypoint AFC started the game with great intensity, pressing every ball and putting Ennis Town under immediate pressure. Early chances fell to Dylan Coleman and Abed, but both were just unlucky not to find the net.

The breakthrough came when Liam McAuley played a perfectly weighted through ball to Roan Mahony, who calmly slotted it past the keeper into the bottom corner. Just minutes later, Callum Cook doubled the lead with a poacher’s finish at the back post.

Moneypoint carried that momentum into the second half, starting brightly once again. James Fitzpatrick got a crucial touch that fell kindly to Roan Mahony on the edge of the box, and he fired high into the net for his second goal of the game.

The fourth goal came from Fitzpatrick himself, who collected the ball at the back post, beat his man, and finished confidently at the keeper’s near post.
The scoring was completed by Abed Noorbeek, who produced a curling effort from the edge of the box that went in off the far post.

Overall, it was an excellent team performance, with great energy, teamwork, and finishing on display throughout.
