A brilliant and action packed game for Moneypoint, full of determination and fighting spirit right to the final whistle.

 Moneypoint got off to a great start when, after just 10 minutes, captain for the evening and birthday boy Reece Danagher fired us into a 1–0 lead. The team carried that momentum into the second half, and just 7 minutes in, Shay Mulvihill doubled the advantage to make it 2–0.

 Kilkishen responded strongly, hitting back with three quick goals to turn the game on its head and go 3–2 ahead. But Moneypoint refused to give in. With 14 minutes remaining, Hayden Keane brought us back level at 3–3 with a well taken goal.

 The drama didn’t stop there, as Kilkishen struck twice again to make it 5–3. Still, Moneypoint showed incredible heart, and Hayden Keane grabbed his second of the game to reduce the deficit to 5–4.

 Despite relentless pressure in the closing stages, Moneypoint just couldn’t find the equaliser.
