Two great games of football tonight from our two U11 teams 👏⚽️

Away Team Report:
A brilliant contest on the road saw Lifford open the scoring before Moneypoint responded through Stephen Keane. Lifford edged back in front, but once again Moneypoint showed great character, with George Lillis finding the net to make it 2-2 at half time.

Lifford regained the lead in the second half to go 3-2 up. Moneypoint pushed hard for an equaliser, hitting the crossbar and coming close on a number of occasions, but Lifford held firm with some excellent goal-line clearances. Late on, they added a fourth to finish the game 4-2. 

Home Team Report:
At home, thanks to Paul for keeping everything running smoothly, and to our ref Barry.
Despite not getting the result, there were some excellent performances right across the team. A never-give-up attitude was clear from start to finish, with two fantastic goals from Darragh Hennessy. Plenty of positives and great learning taken from the game.

A special mention to our girls this evening – one word: WOW! 🙌

Too many standout performances to name, with real signs of improvement across the board.
