Our u13 Boys captained by Cian this evening started the game brilliantly and took an early lead when Jason reacted quickest to finish a rebound from Patrick’s shot. Full of confidence, the lads continued to attack and a superb team move ended with Fayez calmly slotting the ball into the back of the net.

It wasn’t long before a perfectly timed through ball from James found Fayez again, who made no mistake with the finish for his second goal of the game. Shortly before half time, a short corner from Jason saw James produce brilliant footwork to beat two defenders before blasting the ball into the roof of the net to make it 4-0.

The boys came out strong again in the second half and controlled most of the possession, but the home side managed to score two quick goals. The lads kept battling right until the final whistle and fully deserved their 4-2 victory.
