Moneypoint v Kildysart
Moneypoint started brightly, opening the scoring through Matthew Malone. Kildysart were then awarded a dubious penalty to make it 1-1 before taking the lead to go 2-1 ahead. Fionn Considine responded with a brilliant long range strike to leave it 2-2 at half time.
Shortly after the break Kildysart went 3-2 in front, but once again Moneypoint battled back with Matthew Malone grabbing his second goal of the game to level matters at 3-3. Kildysart pulled away in the closing stages and the game finished 6-3.
A huge effort from our lads who worked unbelievably hard right to the final whistle. Credit also to Kildysart who had two teams rotating every 15 minutes, while our boys kept fighting all the way to the end. Big improvements are being made every week and the progress is clear to see.
