Our Moneypoint girls had a tough start to their first game together as a team, coming up against a strong and well-drilled Corofin side. 

Corofin got off to a fast start with a few early goals, but the Moneypoint girls never let their heads drop and showed fantastic character throughout the game.

After a few positional changes at half time, the girls came back onto the field with great energy and determination. They worked tirelessly for one another, showed some excellent passages of team play, and were rewarded with two brilliant goals from Kate Zerafa.

Considering it was their very first game together as a team, the girls can be extremely proud of their performance, attitude, and fighting spirit. 
There were plenty of positives to take from the game, and this will stand to them as a great stepping stone heading into their next match against Tulla.
