Another heroic performance from our girls this evening away to Newmarket under blistering sunshine. The soaring temperatures certainly didn't slow them down as they produced some excellent football throughout the game.

The girls started brightly, playing some fantastic soccer in the opening half and creating plenty of chances. At the other end, goalkeeper Áine Przybylo pulled off a number of excellent saves to keep a strong Newmarket side at bay and ensure Moneypoint remained firmly in the contest.

Captain Kate Zerafa continued her fine goalscoring form, finding the net once again with a superb team goal. The move started at the back and was worked patiently through the team before being finished off in style, showcasing the excellent football the girls are capable of playing.

The pressure continued throughout the second half, with Moneypoint going close on several occasions and never letting their opponents settle. Every player contributed to another outstanding team performance, and it is clear to see the progress being made week after week as the girls continue to grow together as a unit.

These young warriors are doing their club proud every time they pull on the jersey. Their determination, teamwork and commitment are a credit to themselves, their coaches and their families. 

The future is certainly bright for this talented group of players. ⚽💙💛👏
