A fantastic performance from our U13 boys this evening as they claimed a dramatic 3-2 victory to keep themselves firmly in the title race.

Captained by Liam, the lads got off to the perfect start when James curled home an excellent free kick to put us 1-0 ahead. Kildysart responded well and found an equaliser, but our boys never let their heads drop, going into the break level.

Kildysart took the lead early in the second half, but once again the lads showed great character. Ronan played a superb through ball to Shay, who showed great composure and skill to slot the ball into the bottom corner and make it 2-2.

Cian produced a string of outstanding saves to keep us in the game, and just when it looked like the points would be shared, the winning moment arrived. With virtually the last kick of the game, Darragh delivered a brilliant cross into the box and James was there to finish it off, sparking huge celebrations as we secured a deserved 3-2 win.

An excellent team performance from start to finish, full of determination, quality and belief. Well done to all the players and coaches on another massive three points that keeps us right in the title race! 💛💙
