Another improved performance from all the lads in this evening's cup game captained by player of the match Brian against a strong Coole side.

Both teams started brightly, creating chances at either end in an entertaining opening. Coole broke the deadlock midway through the first half, but the boys responded well and put their opponents under real pressure. Unfortunately, the Coole goalkeeper produced a number of excellent saves to deny us an equaliser.

Just before half-time, Matthew was unlucky to see his effort crash off the crossbar before Coole added a second goal to leave the score 2–0 at the break.

The second half saw Moneypoint continue to push forward, creating several more chances, but luck just wasn't on our side in front of goal.

There were excellent performances right across the pitch, with a special mention to Brian OD who produced a superb Man of the Match display in defence.

While the results may not be going our way at the moment, the improvement, teamwork and understanding the lads are showing from game to game is there for everyone to see. Keep working hard, boys—the rewards will come.
