The boys started the game strongly, creating plenty of chances from the opening whistle. Their pressure paid off when James stepped up to take a free kick that crashed off the crossbar, with Patrick reacting quickest to tap home the rebound and open the scoring.
Pressure from the backs was evident throughout the game ⚽️
A superb ball from James sent Patrick through one-on-one with the goalkeeper, and he calmly slotted the ball into the net to double Moneypoint's lead.
Just before half-time, James was at it again, this time with a stunning long-range free kick that flew into the back of the net to give the boys a deserved 3-0 advantage at the break.
The second half saw the lads continue to play with confidence, determination and excellent teamwork. Patrick completed a superb hat-trick with a brilliant finish into the top corner, before Fayez rounded off the scoring late on with a fantastic strike into the bottom corner.
It was a superb all-round TEAM performance, with EVERY player working tirelessly for one another, supporting their teammates and showing great respect to the opposition, the referee and each other throughout the game.
The boys can be proud of the quality, teamwork and attitude they showed from the first whistle to the last.
