Back to back victory for our up and coming stars 🌟
Another beautiful evening saw our U13 Girls travel to Fern Celtic for their Cup Quarter Final. A strong squad made the journey, giving the coaches plenty of options, and the girls certainly didn't disappoint.
Moneypoint produced a dominant display from the first whistle, playing some excellent attacking football and taking a deserved 4-0 lead into half-time.
The coaches made several changes in the second half, including introducing our talented 11-year-olds, who settled into the game as though they had been part of the team all season. The girls continued to work tirelessly, showing great determination to keep a clean sheet while adding three more goals to complete an outstanding 7-0 victory.
Every single player was exceptional, making it impossible to single anyone out for their performance. This fantastic team effort sees Moneypoint AFC reach the Cup Semi-Final for the first time.
A huge credit to Fern Celtic, who never gave up despite being without several players through injury.
We are incredibly proud of this group of girls. After what has been a difficult season, they have grown in confidence and are now playing with great belief, and back-to-back victories are a testament to their hard work and commitment.
