On a very hot evening in Lahinch, our lads booked their place in the Cup Final with an excellent 4-0 victory.

Moneypoint were slow to settle into the game, but after the opening 15 minutes they found their rhythm and began to take control. The breakthrough came when Lucas M made a perfectly timed run to the back post to finish a superb cross from Abed N, giving Moneypoint a deserved 1-0 lead at the break.

The second half saw the lads play some outstanding football. Cillian C doubled the lead with a brilliant solo effort, cutting in from the right, beating three Moher defenders before calmly slotting the ball past the goalkeeper. Cillian grabbed his second of the evening soon after, timing his run to perfection to meet a through ball before finishing confidently into the bottom corner.

The scoring was completed by Liam McA, who reacted quickest to a loose ball outside the box and fired past the keeper to seal a memorable 4-0 win.

A fantastic team performance from start to finish sees the boys through to the Cup Final. What a season these lads are having, and they thoroughly deserve their place in the final.
