🌧️ Moneypoint AFC U15B – Another Win! 💙💛

The conditions for this game could only be described as atrocious, with rain bucketing down from the first whistle. Despite the weather, Moneypoint started brightly, and it took just four minutes for Calum M to open the scoring with a well-placed finish past the keeper.

Calum then turned provider for Moneypoint's second, squaring a perfect pass across the box for Dylan C, who unleashed a superb left-footed strike into the corner of the net. Moneypoint continued to create chance after chance, with the offside flag denying them a few more goals before the break.

Just one minute into the second half, Cillian C grabbed his first of the evening after putting pressure on a short kick-out, winning possession from the defender and finishing from close range.

On the 41st minute, David N picked up the ball just inside the halfway line, drove forward on a brilliant solo run and calmly slotted home. Cotter was at it again soon after, once more forcing a mistake from a short kick-out before firing home his second of the night.

Nagle wasn't finished either, adding his second goal on the 52nd minute. Connolly managed to pull two goals back over the next eight minutes, but Cotter rounded off a fine team performance by completing his hat-trick to seal another excellent victory.

👏 Another win for our U15B side, whose determination and team work are really beginning to pay off. The progress this group has made over the last few weeks has been fantastic to see, and they're fully deserving of the results they're earning.
